Our Approach to Teaching

Jelly Bean Junction preschool is based on the belief that our children’s needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire staff is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our enrollment is from siblings and referrals.

At  Jelly Bean Junction, we pride ourselves on employing a staff that truly cares about the well-being of each and every child. Staff longevity helps create the calm, steady and consistent atmosphere young children thrive in. 

Over half of our amazing and dedicated staff employed at Jelly Bean Junction have been here for 6+ years, and 1/4 of our staff have been here for 10+ years! 

 We have an early literacy focus at our preschool. We want children to be excited about reading! Each week we have new lesson plans that go home with parents on Friday with exciting themes and a letter of the week. Each day theme based stories are read during Circle Time.

Our strong focus on early literacy helps build the vocabularies of our children and increases their receptive language skills. 

We make every effort to establish a rapport with each child’s family and to have open lines of communication so we may all work together to ensure our children are having the ultimate preschool experience at our center, socially, emotionally and academically.
